Kabir

Kabir’s mom, on behalf of their beautiful family, sent us an awesome note and I wanted to share it with you.  Thank you Kabir & family for allowing us into your home and hearts…a true honor and privilege for all of us!

“Mandeep and I would like to say Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful experience we had with Rooms of Hope. This experience went beyond any expectations we could have even dreamed of. Kabir’s reaction to his new room was priceless and brought him much joy and will help him feel settled into his new house during such a difficult time of transitions in his life. Dad (a true Star Wars fan) lied down the room and daydreamed for about an hour, stating how this would be his childhood dream room . Mom had to hold back the tears (as this was a happy occasion) but she felt a lot less alone in this isolating journey from the kindness and love Rooms of Hope showed for our family. All we can say to volunteers and donors at Rooms of Hope is “May the force be with you!” to continue the amazing work you are doing for families like ours.”

Thank you all so very much for your donations of funding/product FSA, Gala Supporters and The Home Depot & Foundation…and lunches Shae/Lisa…and everyone’s hard work at the makeover!  Keith the family loved their hotel stay with you at Half Moon Bay Lodge too…thank you!  Emilia you outdid yourself  with the design as did our entire Rooms of Hope team in execution.  Great job all!  Thank you Lori and Stan, Sr. for taking over for me as Project Supervisors in my absence.  Everyone had the force with them and the family appreciates it all!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
