Children’s Rooms and Referral Sources/Qualifications

We are honored and privileged to be working with such amazing children and their families. Each child is referred to us by their family or friends, service organizations or places of worship, and leading Bay Area children’s hospitals including Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and San Francisco.

Here’s who qualifies for our program: Any child who has a life-threatening illness; and will be “on treatment” for the next 6 to 9 months; and is between the age of 4 and 19-years-old; and lives with their parents or guardians; and resides in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. This includes all cities in the nine Bay Area counties – Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma.

Each child is worthy of a dream room makeover that will inspire them to continue to battle the medical condition they are faced with.  Our hope is that what we do on their behalf will bring much joy, love and hope into each of their lives. Please note that we review referrals four times a year.  Referrals are reviewed quarterly in March, June, September and December.
